Our Team

Our stylists attend continuing education courses at the Aveda Institute and the Aveda Academy each year.

Larissa/Heather (Assistants) are wonderful at customer service. Whatever the stylist or guests needs, they are right there. They are both training in the salon and attending classes at Aveda. We look forward to seeing their talent blossom in our salon.

Diana (Designer Stylist) Has Been with Carla’s Hair Salon for several years already and has blossomed into a great stylist. Diana has a great artistic style that inspires her clients and is meticulous about her work. Diana is talented with make up as well as hair; she also is continuing her education at the Aveda institute and Aveda Academy.

Jenna (Designer Stylist) - Jenna brings great talent, personality and experience to our team. She loves to create different styles to keep her guest looking their best with styles that are polished and sophisticated or funky and fun. Jenna will also be continuing her education with Aveda.

Sandra (Designer Stylist) - Sandra brings great talent, personality and experience to our team. She loves to create different styles to keep her guest looking their best. Sandra has kept inspired by attending classes at the Aveda institute and Aveda Academy.

Stephanie (Designer Stylist) - Stephanie is very ambitious and love’s to listen. She keeps herself up to date with the latest styles, colors, and trends by attending classes at the Aveda institute. Stephanie is a rising star and is exceptionally versed in dealing with curly hair. If you sit in Stephanie’s chair you’ll not only leave with a smile you will have made a new friend.

Heidi (Designer Stylist) - Heidi brings experience and professionalism to Carla’s Hair Salon. Throughout her career Heidi has continued her education at the Aveda institute and the Aveda Academy. Heidi is a superlative hairdresser and a phenomenal colorist. Her guests love how she genuinely takes time to listen to their personal needs.

Carla (Master Stylist/Co-Owner) - Carla is not only the co-owner, but, the salon’s creative director. Carla was fortunate in her early days to take many advanced cutting and coloring classes at the Aveda Academy in NYC. Carla continues this practice and eagerly teaches and presents new information to her Team. Carla feels, “there is still so much out there to learn. I continue to be inspired by my Team, my guests and business partner Sharif.”

Sharif (Manager/Co-Owner) - Sharif has a drive for creating a different salon experience. One that is welcoming, familiar, pampering and efficient. If you've ever been frustrated by trying to make an appointment with your stylist only to find out he or she is booked for weeks, you'll appreciate the new focus on team at Carla's Hair Salon.

Carla’s Hair Salon has recently converted to team-based pay and it's a switch that will benefit employees and customers.

The premise is simple. Every member of the Carla’s Hair Salon team is focused on serving the customer and building the business. Customers don’t “belong” to one employee; they may be served by the entire staff. Skill certification ensures that the services are performed the same for every customer.
